Hello guys, one of my best friends from collage has a house full of antiques and loves to shop at flea markets and very old stores. But I am just the opposite, because I love contemporary furniture. It’s a wonder that we were such good friends when our shopping tastes are such polar opposites! When I bought this home I decided on contemporary bedroom furniture as the first furniture purchase. The bedroom is my refuge and I want it to be a calming, secure haven for me after the long firm days. The colors are yielding green and very calming. I love the contrast of the green walls and drapes next to the dark espresso wood of the furniture. I looked at all dissimilar kinds of beds and decided that contemporary beds were the wonderful style for me. I love the clean line without canopies or bedposts, and the method they make the room appear bigger with the low visual lines. I had the hardest time finding the correct quilts and color sheets. I always seem to like a color that is not mainstream. I wanted the soft blues, teals and chocolates years ago, and only now are those colors being carried in the linen departments. Have a nice day.
